direction to the Sound Healing Network's Board of Directors,
and votes on any issues of potential conflict of interest.
The Sound Healing Network's
Advisory Board is comprised of
respected and experienced sound healers who believe in
Sound Healing Network's mission to educate the public about
sound healing and its applications
and to provide a supportive network for sound healers to
do their missionary work.

Peggy Black:
Sacred Sound Salutarist and Spiritual Synergist'.
Recording artist, world traveler, lecturer, workshop facilitator,
with thirty years experience in the healing field. Featured
internationally in television, radio and print media. Founded/co/created
The International
Sound Symposium 2002. Peggy is passionate about sharing
the resurgence of sound vibrations as a healing modality
and tool for wholeness.
She hosts a monthly Sound Pod, encouraging the personal
use of sound to clear blockages, relieve stress which promotes
well-being. We welcome
Peggy as
a member
of our West Coast sister organization, the
Healing Music Organization.

Barbara Hero:
An artist, composer, mathematician,
writer, is the inventor of the Lambdoma Keyboard that
is designed to help our well being by calling us to harmony
of spirit, mind, emotion and physicality. She has published
articles about the Lambdoma Keyboard's effects on human
behavior in the "IEEE Engineering in Medicine and
Biology Magazine", the Pavlovian Society's "Integrative
Physiological and Behavioral Science Journal."

Kevin Michael:
A powerful instrument of Sacred Sound and Light.
His multi-tonal and exquisite voice allows you to feel
the deep impact of Sacred Sound. He is a gifted guide on
the ‘Return
Journey’ and a talented teacher who can facilitate you on
your path of healing and remembering YOU ARE ETERNAL BEING.

Molly Scott, Ed. D.,LMHC:
A therapist, singer, educator, and
pioneer in the use of the embodied voice in psychotherapy,
She has a doctorate in counseling psychology and has presented
her Creative
Resonant training throughout the U.S. and Europe. Her
background in theater, television and recordings informs
her deeply intuitive
understanding of the power of sound to affect body/mind
change. A long time environmental and peace activist, she
directs the Creative
Resonance Institute, teaches at Antioch New England Graduate
School, and maintains a clinical practice in Western Mass.
Her many recordings
include We Are All One Planet, Honor the Earth and Each
Other, Sound of Light, and Songs of Hope and Healing on
the Sumitra label.

Rev Miriam O'Mahony:
A Spiritual Counselor, Polarity Therapist,
Singer, Sound Healer, Nutrition-Lifestyle Consultant,
and workshop leader, in practice for over 25yrs. Educated
in a Spanish convent
in England, Miriam is a former member of ACAM, (American
College for the Advancement of Medicine) and graduate of
the New Seminary
in Manhattan. With extensive studies in theology and
philosophy of, Jewish, Catholic, Buddhist, Sufi, Hindu,
and Native American
traditions, Miriam is very experienced in the practice
of Ceremony and Sacred Singing within these great traditions.
In addition to
performing Ceremonies, weddings, and baby namings, Miriam
also works with Hospice in private care for the sick and
dying.

Saruah Sarah Benson:
Our former advisory board member, cherished mentor, colleague, elder of sound healing, one of our dearest friends, and allies, Sarah Saruah Benson passed on, Monday Evening, April 2, 2007. You can view our memorial page for Saruah here.
A Sound Healing Guide, musician, and poet of the soul. She explored sound, consciousness and healing for over thirty years, sharing her music and wisdom in this country and abroad. Saruah is the creator of Source Sound Soul Energetics, a fusion of sound healing, expressive therapies, and soul integration. She released many tapes, CDs, several books of prose and guided students enrolled in the expressive therapies at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, Omega Theater and Transpersonal Drama Therapy in the Boston area. Saruah was cofounder of Earth Sound Light Center in Charlemont, MA, was a teacher of teachers maintaining her connection with Source, Mother, Child and Earth. |
